What I do

Based on the principle of good communication between the translator and the client, my main focus is to understand the client's translation needs and their requirements for customized translation and linguistic services. My services cover the following categories, according to the prices defined below.

TRANSLATION

Text and subtitle translation for audiovisual content (when the client provides the template or, in its absence, requires spotting) from English into European Portuguese.

Pricing from:
• 0.06 € technical and scientific translation
• 0,05 € text translation per word
• 3,50 € subtitling per minute (the template supplied by the client)
• 5 € per minute (without the template) for subtitling

MTPE

Light post-editing: Minimal corrections to ensure the text is understandable and grammatically correct, without major improvements in style or fluency.
• 0,02 € per word

Full post-editing More in-depth revision, ensuring grammatical accuracy, fluency, style adequacy, and content precision.
• 0,04 € per word

PROOFREADING

Spelling, grammatical, and textual correction for books, websites, and subtitles in the following variants:

Monolingual

VIDEO GAME LOCALIZATION

Translation and adaptation of video games into European Portuguese:
From 0,06 € text translation per word
From 16 € per hour for application testing

CIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL TRANSLATION

Specialized and thorough translation that requires research, consistency in the terms used, and appropriate terminology.

CC / SDH

Subtitling aimed at the deaf and hard of hearing with the template supplied by the client.
